Wholesome Energy is an affiliate of Wholesome Foods, Inc., (a family-owned company that was established in 1964). Wholesome Foods distributes poultry, beef, pork, deli items and bottled water to restaurants and supermarkets in the Mid-Atlantic region. (You can learn about us at www.wholesomefoodsinc.com.)
In 2008 Wholesome Energy started the construction of their oil processing facility, installed their first 10,000 gallon tank and received the first used cooking oil delivery of just 250 gallons. The business grew enough that year to start selling to animal feed mills and biodiesel producers. Today we sell millions of gallons per year and have several hundred thousand gallons of storage.
In that same year in 2008 we were introduced to Eric W. Cottell of Nonox Ltd. (www.nonoxltd.net). We are now a fabricator and distributor of Nonox Emulsion Combustion Technology.
